Welcome to our celebrity homes page.
This is a super fun section, but it’s also excellent for inspiration given celebs often live in amazing houses, townhomes, apartments (including penthouses) and condos… some are very expensive and some are huge. If interiors are your thing, check out our collection of celebrity home interiors.
Neighborhoods, Towns, States & Countries
While celebs buy homes all over the world, many of the featured cribs are located in Southern California, New York City, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Connecticut and Florida. Other hot spots include the Hamptons, ski resorts such as Aspen, Vail, Lake Tahoe and Telluride.
Off course there are specific Southern California neighborhoods and municipalities where many celebs live such as Los Angeles, Beverly Hills, Bel Air, Pacific Palisades, Hollywood Hills, Malibu, Holmby Hills, Los Feliz, Venice Beach, Newport Beach, Santa Barbara, La Jolla, Brentwood, Palm Springs and Calabasas to name a few “famous” burbs of the rich and famous.
Our celebrity pad articles showcase photos of the exterior, interiors and grounds. Interiors include photos of celebrity kitchens, living rooms, bedrooms bathrooms, garages plus those fun rooms most of us don’t have such as wine cellars, home theaters, wet bars, libraries, elaborate home offices, huge foyers, guest houses, home gyms with spa features such as a sauna, hot tub, steam room, elevator and game rooms.
Outside, these estates (often gated) feature infinity pools, beautifully manicured gardens, large hedges, expansive decks and patios, outdoor kitchens, basketball and tennis courts, a private beach and/or incredible views.
Some of these houses are as they were when built while others have undergone extensive renovations.

Which is the best celebrity house?
The nicest celebrity house is a personal opinion. Browse them above and see which is your favorite. My personal favorite, and it’s not an easy choice, is probably Alicia Keys’ “Razor House” in La Jolla, CA. Alicia bought this house for $20.8 million. Built in 2007, it’s waterfront (Pacific Ocean) and is 10,000 square feet.
Can you drive by celebrity homes if they’re in the area?
Yes, you can drive by celebrity houses as long as they reside on public roads. If in a gated community you won’t be able to. Some towns offer “maps of the stars’ houses” like the one pictured here. However, you can’t drive or walk onto their property. That’s trespassing (unless you’re invited of course).
How do you find celebrity homes?
Most articles online showcasing celeb houses do not include their address. Your best bet if in southern California is to buy a map to the stars’ homes.
How big are houses owned by celebrities?
Like price, homes owned by celebs range a great deal from under 1,000 square feet to more than 30,000 square feet. The most common size falls in the 5,000 sq. ft. to 10,000 sq. ft. Keep in mind that many celebs own apartments which are typically smaller and hence skew down the average house size.
